Mountain Strandja is situated in the South-East part of the country and its east border is the Black Sea indeed. Strandja is not one of the highest – it peaks around 500 – 700 m for the highest points. The terrain is rugged and seen from above it looks like a green sea. Geologists say it’s an old mountain and surely it is one that had survived the last ice age without being covered in ice. So, it is really interesting there.

And see what I photographed after the storm. I was shocked – so many trees fallen down. Some of them teared up by the roots and ohters just snapped in two pieces! very sad!
